Healthy Hot Cocoa

As we say goodbye to summer and welcome cold winter days, (I’m still in denial that we’re not in summer anymore) this hot chocolate is the perfect treat.

As I was scouring for hot cocoa mix in my cupboard, I realized that the prepackaged mixes have loads of sugar and not so good ingrediants so I decided to make my own using Cacao. The benefits of Cacao are: reducing stress levels, antioxidants, boosting brain power, packed with iron and magnesium, can help with blood pressure and heart health, the list goes on and on.

I loved topping this drink with Know Brainer marshmallows. It’s UNREAL how these marshmallows have collagen & MCT oil! I try getting as much collagen as I can throughout the day and if I can get it through marshmallows then SIGN ME UP! These marshmallows will be in our Mini box for the month of November.

Healthy Hot Cocao Recipe: combine 1 cup of milk, 2 tbsp of cacao, 1 dash of vanilla extract, 1 pinch of salt, and 1 tbsp of dark chocolate chips into a saucepan. Whisk and heat until chocolate is completely melted through. Add a handful of @know_brainer marshmallows to top it off.
